Little Movers is specially designed to encourage a love of dance and music in 3 and 4 year olds, as well as developing coordination and fitness. Dancers develop the ability to be aware of how the body moves by introducing them to different styles of dance and movement. A variety of methods, props and fun music are used to help introduce basic dancing skills. The Wiggles and Hi-5 music are very popular and help develop coordination, rhythm skills, musicality and social skills. Our Little Movers learn simple movements and dance combinations. |
Love to Dance
![]() |
Love to Dance classes combine ballet and jazz together, with a different focus each term, and lots o dancing and choreography. Children who join CM Dance do so because, simply, they love to dance, and we want to capture and harness this passion whilst teaching the technique required using elements of the classical ballet curriculum from the Royal Academy of Dance and CSTD Jazz syllabus as guides. CM Dance does not have an exam focus - instead dancers are instructed with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment. Only very few dancers obtain elite status in dance. All other dancers should be reaping the benefits that ballet can provide without the pressure and high costs. Love to Dance classes are offered to 5 & 6 year olds, 7 & 8 year olds, and 9 & 10 year olds. |
Love to Tap

Love to Tap is a great way of developing rhythm, co-ordination and timing, while making a great noise with the dancer’s feet. No wonder they enjoy tap so much! Classes are offered to 5 & 6 year olds, 7 & 8 year olds, and 9 & 10 year olds. |

Love to Irish Dance
![]() |
Irish dancing is conducted by experienced and qualified teachers who are passionate about keeping alive the beauty and wonder of Irish dance. Classes are developed depending on the grading of the Irish dancer, from Beginner through to Open standard. Irish dance students are eligible to compete in competitions (or Feis) throughout the year. Many opportunities to compete at local, state, national and international levels of competition are available. To achieve your personal best in the highly competitive world of Irish dancing, it is highly recommended that Irish dance students attend a minimum of two classes per week. Private lessons are also available by appointment. Teams (or Ceili) classes are recommended for competing Irish students who wish to extend their dance experience from the solo to the group. Team classes encourage team building and collaboration, important skills for today’s young people. |
